National Catholic Register

A news service of EWTN.  Also a print paper you can subscribe to.  Their stated mission is to provide a perspective on the news of the day as seen through the eyes of the Magisterium.  Check out the blogs too.  I have followed both Bishop Robert Barron and Jimmy Akin for some time Bishop Robert Barron Blog          Jimmy Akin Blog.

Catholic Culture is run by a non-profit (501 c 3) corporation, Trinity Communications. The board and officers of Trinity Communications are Catholic laymen faithful to the Magisterium of the Church, who seek to enrich faith, strengthen the Church and form Catholic culture according to the mind of the Church.

Zenit News Agency

ZENIT is an independent, international, non-profit news agency staffed by a team of professionals and volunteers who are convinced that the extraordinary wisdom of the Pontiff and the Catholic Church can nourish hope, and assist all of humanity to find truth, justice and beauty.  Their objective is to transmit information with a maximum level of professionalism, fidelity and service to the truth.

New Advent

New Advent is a collector of information, including Catholic news from across the web.  It is maintained by a Catholic layman named Kevin Knight.

Catholic News Agency

The Catholic News Agency takes much of its mission from its sister agency, ACI Prensa, (Spanish) which was founded in Lima, Peru, in 1980 by Fr. Adalbert Marie Mohm (†1986).  CNA keeps a close eye on the Roman Catholic Church in the United States and on news related to the creation of a culture of life.

Intermirifica is an online guide providing information and contact details to Catholic organizations which work in the field of communications. Created in 2009 as a project of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, it encourages networking and communication between peoples and Catholic institutions from around the world.  A possible source for more resourses.
